About Yuva Niti – A Policy Dialogue by Infinity Foundation
In a time when the voice of youth has the power to redefine our nation's future, Infinity Foundation has launched an innovative initiative — "Yuva Niti – A Policy Dialogue", a first-of-its-kind platform that brings together young changemakers, policymakers, academicians, and civic leaders on a single stage.
Yuva Niti is not just a discussion forum — it is a movement to cultivate policy awareness, leadership, and civic responsibility among India's youth. The initiative seeks to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world governance by engaging students directly in dialogues around public policy, sustainability, and nation-building.
Vision
To build a generation of informed, responsible, and action-oriented youth who understand public systems, influence decision-making, and contribute meaningfully to India's policy and governance landscape.
Mission
- To create structured spaces where youth can discuss, debate, and design innovative policy ideas.
- To connect students with policy experts, government officials, and thought leaders for real-world exposure.
- To nurture a culture of civic engagement, critical thinking, and leadership across academic institutions.
What Yuva Niti Offers
Each Yuva Niti Dialogue consists of curated sessions held in leading educational institutions. These sessions feature panel discussions, youth parliaments, and interactive workshops moderated by experts from diverse fields — including governance, law, environment, and public policy.
Students get the opportunity to:
- Present their perspectives on pressing social and governance issues.
- Engage in structured debates and question policymakers directly.
- Develop policy papers, research summaries, and actionable recommendations.
- Build leadership and communication skills through interactive learning.
Every session is designed to transform awareness into action, inspiring young citizens to see themselves as stakeholders in India's democratic and developmental journey.
Key Components of the Initiative
1. Yuva Niti Samiti / Yuva Niti Sabha:
College-level committees of 20 passionate students formed to carry forward the dialogues throughout the academic year. These committees serve as youth think tanks for policy discussions and idea generation.
2. U1ET Clubs (Uniting One in Every Thought):
A continuing process where clubs facilitate regular student-led discussions, policy research, and campaigns on civic and social issues at the institutional level.
3. Yuva Sansad (Youth Parliament):
A simulated platform for youth to experience real-world policy debates, learn parliamentary procedures, and propose solutions to contemporary issues.
4. Yuva Niti Fellowship:
A four-weekend immersive fellowship program that exposes participants to governance, administration, and grassroots problem-solving through workshops, expert sessions, and field visits.
Impact
Through Yuva Niti, Infinity Foundation is nurturing a generation that is aware, analytical, and accountable. The initiative helps youth understand that policy is not just made in government offices but starts with public dialogue and informed citizen participation.
Over multiple sessions, hundreds of students have already participated, bringing forth meaningful insights on themes such as climate action, education reforms, technology governance, and civic ethics. These dialogues are gradually evolving into a network of youth-led policy influencers who think critically and act collectively.
The Foundation's Belief
Infinity Foundation believes that empowering youth through knowledge and participation is the most sustainable way to shape a resilient, democratic, and progressive India.
Yuva Niti is a step toward realizing that vision — where every student becomes a policymaker in thought and a leader in action.
